The first Jazz Night of the year is supersized!!! Two concerts and Four ensembles are playing programs that tare centered around the democratic process. This fall likely presents the first opportunity for our students to cast a vote for president, and we are using the platform to encourage civil action. Voter registration forms and information will be available onsite throughout the evening, proudly presented by members of the political science department. Music written by Oliver Nelson, Nathan Parker Smith, John Scofield, Dave Douglas, Professor Longhair, Wynton Marsalis, Van Halen, and more. Join us for Jumbo Jazz Night – Get Out and Vote. **Note that there will be two performances: 5:00 pm and 7:30 pm!**
Admission is $5. Tickets can be purchased at the door prior to the performance.
