Conservatorium Maastricht is excited to welcome innovative drummer and composer Sun-Mi Hong for a masterclass with our Jazz Department. Born in South Korea and now based in Amsterdam, Sun-Mi Hong leads an international quintet and creates music rooted in both South Korean and European traditions—while constantly exploring new territory. Her latest album, Fourth Page: Meaning of a Nest (Edition Records), showcases her unique blend of complex structures, deep emotion, and fearless improvisation.
