The Basin Street Regulars Hot Jazz Club is proud to announce the Jazz Jubilee Central Coast 2024, a week-long celebration of jazz that will span multiple cities and venues from October 22 to November 2nd, 2024. This newly reimagined festival will showcase a variety of jazz styles, venues, bands, and swing dancers, bringing together the vibrant jazz community across San Luis Obispo County and beyond.

Sunday, Sept 29th
• Johns Jazz with the DOM Jazz Combo at The Rib Line, 4th & Grand Ave. in Grover Beach, 12:30-4pm. (Donations at the door). Drop by for some great jazz and more info on the Festival! FREE

Festival Week Shows:
Tuesday, Oct 22nd
• SLO Jazz Federation Jazz Jam at The Mark Bar & Grill, 673 Higuera St, SLO. 7-9pm (plus every 2nd and 4th Tuesday).
Wednesday, Oct 23rd
• New Orleans themed Kick Off Party at Harry’s Night Club and Beach Bar, Pismo Beach. The West Coast Gumbo Band with special guest Dave Ruffner (7-10:30pm). $25 advance tickets through Harry’s Website — New Orleans cuisine is included with your ticket.
• Maddie and Elias perform Bossa Nova favorites at Stellar’s Cellar Wine Bar at 400 East Clark Ave, Orcutt. Evening performance, check the website for details.
Thursday, Oct 24th
• Dave Ruffner Jazz Quartet at Puffers of Pismo – 781 Price Street, Pismo Beach (5-8pm). Dave Ruffner – trombone, Dawn Lambeth – piano, Sam Roche – bass, and Jim Stromberg – drums! Special intimate show in the 40 capacity room (imagine Bourbon Street!). JJCC Sponsor Event + $45 tickets for BSR members. Ticket price includes hors d’oeuvres and wine/beer.
• Robert Alberts Quintet at Madonna Inn, 100 Madonna Road, San Luis Obispo. (7-10pm & weekly). FREE
Friday, Oct 25th
• SLO Jazz Federation presents “Adam Levine and Metro” with Adam (guitar), Ron McCarley (sax), Kristian Ducharme (keyboard), Dylan Johnson (bass) and Darrell Voss (drums). At Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, 1701 Fredericks St., San Luis Obispo. 7:30 pm. Tickets are $35 for general admission, $25 for Jazz Fed members, and $10 for students.
• Balboa Swing Dance lessons & dance featuring the Big Sirs of Swing – Grover Beach Community Ctr., 1230 Trouville Ave. 6:30-9:30 pm. $20 tickets online at GB City website and at the door.
• Ray Chang Band at Puffers of Pismo, 7-10pm ($5 cover).
Saturday, Oct 26th
• Swing Dance lessons (10am – 1pm) and performances by regional High School and College Big Band Jazz Groups (1-5pm) – FREE show with donations for the bands – Grover Beach Community Center, 1230 Trouville Ave.
• Pacific Mambo Orchestra presented by the Clark Center for the Performing Arts – 487 Fair Oaks Ave, Arroyo Grande 7:30 pm.

• Cuesta College Jazz Combos at Linnaea’s Cafe at 1110 Garden St., SLO, 6-8pm (and every 1st and 3rd Friday). FREE
Saturday, Nov 2nd
• Cuesta Jazz with Derek Brown featuring the Cuesta Jazz Ensembles conducted by Ron McCarley in their first concert of the season. Presented by the Cuesta Jazz Music Dept. – Cuesta Performing Arts Center, CA-1, San Luis Obispo.
