High-class, swinging music with some of the best musicians in the Bay Area!
As the COVID pandemic shut down indoor music venues, bassist Chuck Sher decided to bring the music outdoors, weather permitting, and thus have a safe place to play and listen to high quality music. "Jazz in the Plaza" is now entering its fourth year of bringing live jazz concerts to Petaluma and it has turned out to be a real community event. The sounds range from improvised versions of well-known standard songs, to exciting Latin jazz compositions, to jazz versions of contemporary music by Steely Dan, Chick Corea, etc. Don't miss this Petaluma tradition, sponsored by local angels of live music, Music in Place!
