Jazz In The Candlelight - An Evening of Music

Step into a warm, glowing world of music and light at Jazz In the Candlelight, our take on an evening illuminated by candlelight. The TKTC Theater inside the Expo Arts Center will be transformed into an intimate, shimmering venue filled with the golden glow of hundreds of candles.

Experience the artistry of Grammy-nominated musician Billy Mohler and his exceptional jazz quartet as they fill the space with rich, soulful sounds. This one-of-a-kind evening blends the magic of live jazz with an atmosphere designed to soothe, inspire, and connect.

Ticket Information: Seating is theater style, so guests should be comfortable walking up a few stairs to reach their seats. All seating is first-come, first-served within your ticket section.

• VIP Seating – $65: First two rows, premium view.
• General Seating – $50: Rows 3–6, great sightlines.
• Rear View Seating – $40: Rows 7–8; may have a partially obstructed view from a pole and uses standard white plastic folding chairs.
• ADA Seating – $50: Two accessible seats available, each with the option to add a plus-one seat next to them.

Enjoy a cash bar with drinks available before and during the performance, and capture the magic with special photo opportunities before and after the show.

Limited free parking spaces will be available, first come-first serve. Doors will be open at 5:30pm (Note: schedule of the event may be subject to change).

About the Billy Mohler & his Quartet:

Bassist and composer Billy Mohler is a vital link between Los Angeles’ musical underground and its mainstream. As a bandleader, his focus is on creating sonically inventive music that captures the raw chemistry of his ensembles while showcasing his own rough-hewn, rhythmically driven, and compelling compositions.

Mohler has released four critically acclaimed albums—Ultraviolet, Focus, Anatomy, and most recently The Eternal. His quartet has toured internationally, including a recent two-week run through Italy and the Netherlands, with performances at prestigious venues such as Ferrara Jazz and the Bimhuis in Amsterdam.

A graduate of the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz, Mohler studied under masters Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter. Beyond jazz, he has collaborated with an impressive roster of pop and rock icons, including Lady Gaga, Dolly Parton, Ringo Starr, AWOLNATION, and Sia.

Tonight, the Billy Mohler Quartet features Chris Speed (saxophone), Julien Knowles (trumpet), and Max Jaffe (drums).
