Jazz in June concerts take place every Tuesday evening during the month of June at the UNL Sheldon Sculpture Garden. The free, family-friendly concert series will feature two sets of music from 7-7:45 p.m. and 8-8:45 p.m., with a 15-minute intermission.June 18th Artist- Emily Bass and the Near Miracle
We're excited to have Nebraska favorite Emily Bass and the Near Miracle will take the Jazz in June stage on June 18th! This eight-piece Lincoln-based ensemble specializes in jazz, blues, R&B, soul, pop, rock, and gospel-inspired sounds, drawing influence from Dizzy Gillespie, The Staples Singers, Janis Joplin, Carole King & more! Performing a mix of original music and covers, the Near Miracle is known for rich harmonies and dynamic live performances that never fail to leave audiences energized and uplifted.
Food vendors will be on-site starting at 5pm. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Jazz in June performances are free and open to the public, though donations are encouraged at the event or ahead of time online. Alcohol and/or dogs are not permitted.
