ColaJazz Academy presents a new 4-week Jazz Improvisation course with pianist and composer Nicholas Vlandis, starting September 29, 2025.Open to musicians with a working knowledge of major and minor scales, this hands-on program covers jazz vocabulary, chord-tone enclosures, harmonic mastery, transcription skills, and performance techniques—all taught in an engaging, accessible way.

Vlandis, a celebrated performer and educator, has been a driving force in South Carolina’s jazz scene for over a decade and brings a wealth of knowledge to every session.
