40 days after Easter is Ascension Day, our namesake! An expanded Jazz-themed worship to honor this festival will feature Laiken Love on vocals, Derek Akhi, trumpet, Eric Dunn, on bass, and Cantor Tom White on keyboards. Pastor Matt Henning presides and preaches. A great celebration with fellowship, too.
6:00 p.m. doors open
6:30 p.m. worship followed by a reception
The offering will be received for Hot Meals for the Hungry, a ministry of Ascension providing meals for houseless and food insecure people in downtown Savannah.
