Empire welcomes your 9-12yr old into our inclusive community for this upbeat Jazz Funk / Commercial dance class.Commercial Dance is an industry favorite. This hybrid of hip-hop, pop, and street jazz fuses to make commercial choreography that is styled similar to a music video. Commercial uses all, or some of these elements, depending on the groove, or feeling of the song, to create interesting choreography. Also see Hip Hop & Jazz Funk.
Jazz Funk also called Street Jazz, is an expressive and innovative form of dance that combines hip hop grooves with jazz flair, femininity, and technique. Students learn fast paced, or upbeat combinations of expressive movement.
