It’s a moment that yielded classics like Valle’s own Previsão do Tempo and Hyldon’s Na Rua, Na Chuva, Na Fazenda, two albums whose liquid, curving, and grooving core was dug out by Azymuth. Founding members Ivan “Mamão” Conti, Alex Malheiros, and José Roberto Bertrami bring their unparalleled rhythms to this historic concert, backing up Valle and performing a set of their own deeply funky songs.
