EmpowHER Events is an organization that Inspires and Connects women to their greatest potential. Our (Shades of PINK) theme brunch will take place on the beautiful grounds of The Hilton Garden Inn in Tampa, Florida. Ladies invite a friend and get ready to be empowered from guest speakers, live jazz, DJ Tee-Pee, networking, vendors and much more. Oh 360 photo booth will be on site! Come fashionable!!

Dr. McKinney is an author of "Living Single God's Way", a Single Woman’s Guide to Wholeness. She is an honor graduate of Hillsborough Community College and Tampa Bay Legal Academy. Always diligent in her commitment to God and education she continued her matriculation at Tampa Bible College where she earned her Masters of Divinity, Masters of Christian Counseling and Doctorate in Christian Education.She was recognized by the City of Tampa in 1996, as a "Woman of Zion" and again in February 2007, as the recipient of the "2007 City of Tampa’s Employee Black History Award." She has been appointed to preach the gospel and evangelize since the year of 1990. Through her philanthropic services, WOW Ministries, Inc. (Women of Wisdom) was birthed in 1994 and I Am WOW Mentorship Institute in 2019. She was also nominated by On Que Magazine as the 2013 "Female Pastor of the Year" for the City of Tampa and she was also the 2020 recipient of the "FBCM Local Impact Award."
