An evening of great Jazz music with the Student Musicians of SUNY Purchase College.
Conducted by Prof. David DeJesus Asst. Prof. of Music and Latin Jazz Orchestra Conductor at SUNY Purchase College. Prof. DeJesus has performed with the Village Vanguard Jazz Orchestra the Mingus Big Band the Dizzy Gillespie Alumni All-Stars and many others. Prof. DeJesus is currently a member of the Grammy Award–winning Arturo O’Farrill Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra the Grammy-nominated Bobby Sanabria Big Band and the legendary Ron Carter’s Great Big Band.
After the concert we’ll host a talk-back between musicians and audience where you can meet a future musical all-star!
