Jazz Concert: Kahlil Kwame Bell

Join NYC Parks for a jazz concert featuring Kahlil Kwame Bell! Percussionist, composer, bandleader and producer Kahlil Kwame Bell has been active in the music industry from jazz to rock to hip hop; from European classical to world music; from spirituals to spoken word. His extensive career spans collaborations with Abbey Lincoln, Roberta Flack, Erykah Badu, The Artist formerly known as Prince, Luther Vandross, Ashford & Simpson, James Carter, Bradford Hayes, Don Braden and Stefon Harris. He has toured worldwide and appeared on over 150 CDs, including eight of his own.   

Presented by the Jazz Foundation of America, supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and by the Howard Gilman Foundation
