The Vernon Jazz Club is absolutely thrilled to announce our 25th Anniversary Headliner Concert with none other than Canadian icon Laila Biali.
The multi-award winning Canadian vocalist, pianist, songwriter and CBC national radio host Laila Biali returns to the Vernon Jazz Club for a memorable evening of live music and heart warming stories.
For this special trio concert, Laila will be joined by BC's very own Jodi Proznick on bass – winner of the 2019 Western Canadian Music Award for Jazz Artist of the Year and 2022 recipient of the BC Lieutenant Governor's Arts and Music Award. Rounding out the rhythm section on drums and percussion will be another BC luminary, Joel Fountain.
Come experience how this dynamic group "masterfully mixes jazz and pop, bringing virtuosity and unpredictability to songs that are concise and catchy" (Washington Post).
