Jazz at the Tavern with Mick Foster

Our June guest Mick Foster is a reeds player and composer, and is especially known as a baritone and bass saxophonist. He has played John Dankworth, Stan Sulzmann and Mike Garrick, Ginger Baker’s Air Force, The Back To Basie Orchestra, The London Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Opera and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. Mick currently plays with his own quartet and quintet, Alan Barnes’ +11 project, and is a long standing member of The London Jazz Orchestra. He has recorded four albums under his own name.
Mick will play two sets with our excellent house band. Expect great music, prize-winning on-site brewed beers, and delicious sourdough pizzas. Music from 8 pm - come early to ensure a seat.
