Our February guest is rising star saxophonist Alex Clarke. Alex was a BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year Finalist in 2020 and won the British Jazz Awards "Rising Star" category in 2019. Alex's sound is steeped in the tradition of bebop. Her total respect for the heritage of the music can be heard in a fiery, melodic approach inspired by the likes of Phil Woods, Cannonball Adderley and Vincent Herring.
She will play both sets with the house band.
As ever, prize-winning on-site brewed beers, and delicious sourdough pizzas. Music from 8 pm- come early to ensure a seat.
