Jazz at the Oxford Presents The Minneapolis All Stars

Experience St. Paul & The Minneapolis Funk All Stars live at Jazz at the Oxford, an intimate concert experience in the Minnesota Ballroom at The Oxford Hotel Bend. With limited seating and the artist just steps from the audience, each performance offers 90 minutes of live music in one of downtown Bend’s most distinctive settings.
Discovered by Prince at seventeen and cast in Purple Rain with The Time, St. Paul Peterson was hand-picked to front Prince's group The Family, the first voice ever to sing “Nothing Compares 2 U.” Today he leads St. Paul & the Minneapolis Funk All Stars, an electrifying supergroup drawn from Prince's inner circle, featuring alumni of The Revolution, The Time, The Family, the New Power Generation, and Mint Condition. Together, they bring the legendary Minneapolis Sound roaring to life — the era-defining fusion of funk, rock, and R&B that changed popular music forever.
