Jazz at the Moon with Blue Shift Big Band at Prairie Moon

Blueshift Big Band builds upon the rich legacy of Big Band music found in Chicago. Having missed the thrill and energy that could only come from playing in an ensemble of this size, Baer and Parsons put together a book of their favorite charts and called upon friends and fellow musicians who enjoyed the style just as much as they did.

Fulton Street Collective in Chicago and Prairie Moon restaurant, 1635 Chicago Avenue in Evanston, are proud to offer affordable, top notch jazz every Wednesday night from 9PM – 11PM in downtown Evanston. Prairie Moon is a favorite restaurant in Evanston serving authentic regional American cuisine and is known as Evanston’s original craft beer bar.

Every Wednesday a different jazz group will play from 9PM-11PM. There is an affordable $7 cover, which goes entirely to the musicians and to support Fulton Street Collective.
