About this Event
With Richard Cook on vocals, Marcus James on piano, Jamie Royan on double bass, and Paul Teesdale on drums, they will a be joined for this special show by Jeremy Robinson on trumpet and flugelhorn, and Stuart Ashton on tenor sax.
WestSideJazz and Friends were formed out of Jazz Café sessions at MEHR Clef 2024. Singer Richard Cook studied jazz vocals at Richmond Jazz School, singing with Cuban band Havana Good Time for ten years before forming Brazilian group Blame It On The Bossa Nova.
Marcus James studied jazz piano at Leeds College of music, developing a lyrical style influenced by Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, and Wynton Kelly.
Jamie Royan is active in the West London music scene playing with 59 de Ville, Jazz Mondays, The Ealing Very Senior Hot Jazz Orchestra. Paul Teesdale studied drums at Richmond Jazz School and plays drums with Anacousis, Kewdos Jazz Orchestra, Havana Good Time, and What You Will.
Jeremy Robinson plays cornet and flugelhorn in 59 de Ville and trumpet/flugelhorn as a guest of WestSideJazz. His experience spans small group 1920s jazz, 18-piece big band swing, and post-bebop combos.
Whatever you like in classic jazz, we’ll have it: “Jeannine”, “Stolen Moments”, “Georgia on My Mind” “Señor Blues” and many more besides.
A word about our seating arrangements
We sell tickets as tables for two or four people and banquettes for six.
We also sell tickets for individual seats in rows beside the stage, not at a table. You can also buy individual tickets to add to tables, so you can to buy a table for two and make it up to three by buying an extra ticket, or buy a table for four and make it up to five by buying an extra ticket.
Chiswick Calendar Club Card holders are offered a £2 discount on tickets.
You can order meals, bar snacks and drinks in the Boston Room, before and during the performance. Doors open 7.00 pm. Performance starts 7.30 pm
We don't give refunds but if you find you have to cancel, email us to talk about a credit note for another show.
