Jazz at George IV - Gill Cook & Michele Ingham Quintet “Hit That Jazz Jive”

“Hit That Jazz Jive” (Sunday Afternoon Special): Two of the UK’ most illustrious vocalists, Gill Cook "a true communicator with a rich and characterful voice" and Michele Ingham who charms with her "honey toned vocals ' return to Chiswick along with their A-List combo in the Boston Room for this special Sunday afternoon concert. Expect an enticing mix of swinging Jazz, a soupcon of Soul, Latin rhythms and funky Blues as these two celebrated singers add an exciting twist to many of the well-known jazz and soul songs.

With their top-flight band, expertly led by the highly acclaimed pianist Meredith White, noted bassist Nick Lennister-Webster, sax supremo Ian Bailey and top drummer Jason Reeve, the show promises to be an exciting variety of old and new crossing the many boundaries of the jazz genre. Expect to enjoy such numbers as “Hit That Jive Jack”, “Dancing in the Street”, and “It Don’t Mean A Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing” “I Can See Clearly Now” among others.

A word about our seating arrangements:

We sell tickets as tables for two or four people and banquettes for six.

We also sell tickets for individual seats in rows beside the stage, not at a table. You can also buy individual tickets to add to tables, so you can to buy a table for two and make it up to three by buying an extra ticket, or buy a table for four and make it up to five by buying an extra ticket.

Chiswick Calendar Club Card holders are offered a £2 discount on tickets.

You can order meals, bar snacks and drinks in the Boston Room, before and during the performance. Doors open 3.00 pm. Performance starts 3.30 pm
