Jazz & Heritage Concert Series: The Pfister Sisters

The 2025 Traditional and Contemporary Jazz Concert Series, produced by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation and presented by Goldfarb Financial, promises to be an extraordinary celebration of the timeless and modern evolution of jazz.

The Pfister Sisters perform live in concert on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center (1225 N. Rampart Street). Doors open at 7pm and the concert begins promptly at 8pm.

Seating is general admission and limited, so please register in advance. All proceeds from this concert series directly support the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation.

About the Pfister Sisters:

The Pfister Sisters continue the legacy of the Boswell Sisters' innovative vocal jazz harmonies, becoming a cherished New Orleans tradition themselves. Since 1979, Holley Bendtsen, Yvette Voelker, Karen Stoehr, and pianist Amasa Miller have been bringing New Orleans' traditional jazz to audiences worldwide. They've shared stages with legends like Linda Ronstadt, Irma Thomas, and Maxine Andrews of the Andrews Sisters. The Pfister Sisters have toured extensively across the United States and Europe, performing in diverse venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Ascona Jazz Festival, and Angola State Penitentiary. They've even appeared as themselves in an episode of HBO's "Treme." Festival favorites, their lively performances, including Holley Bendtsen's "Down at the Jazzfest," continue to resonate with audiences locally and globally.
