When the jazz musicians take a short break, you stroll over to the wine tasting table and indulge in light, friendly conversation with friends and familiar faces that you have not seen in ages. You feel more social after tasting so many varieties of wine and more relaxed. The warm breeze whips through your locks and reminds you of past jazz festivals that you attended on the beaches of Jamaica. The evening has promises of great jazz music coupled with food, beverages and much more. The good news is that you do not have to imagine any of this. Ebony News Today knows you have been waiting with baited breath to take a break from sheltering in-place due to COVID. The ‘Jazz and Wine Festival’ is that special event that will put you in a laid-back, sultry and joyful mood, while adhering to COVID safety protocols.Saturday afternoon on October 23rd, promises to be the perfect evening for all jazz and wine enthusiasts to check-in and chill for awhile. The Jazz and Wine Festival will incorporate an indoor and outdoor venue. Indoors will be for those who choose to watch the festival on the ‘big screen’, and outdoors will be for those who choose to watch it live (upfront and personal). All seating is first-come, first-seated. The idea is to bring your lawn chair for the outside seating and find a location that suits you. The festival begins at 12:00 noon, and doors open at 11:30 am. Remember, the ‘early bird’ gets the best seating! Pricing is $40 for general admission; $55 for VIP Outdoor Admission and $65 VIP Indoor/Outdoor Admission (see ad for details).
