Recently featured in the highly-acclaimed documentary Play it Loud! - How Toronto Got Soul (directed by Graeme Mathieson and produced by Andrew Munger), Jay Douglas is 3-time Juno nominated musician, bandleader and producer. A founding member of the groundbreaking Toronto-based Cougars, Jay has been a leading force in shaping Canada’s reggae, ska and blues scenes and has been welcomed at festivals and venues across the globe, collaborating, recording and and performing alongside the likes of Beres Hammond, Freddy McGregor, Ziggy Marley, Jackie Richardson, Dubmatix and Jimmy James to name a few.
