After a long hiatus from the music scene Jay returns to the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun. The new Jay Dempsey Band is now a local favorite in the eastern Connecticut area, expanding its Country repertoire to include Southern Rock tunes from Jay’s early Franklin Lymestone roots. Their song covers include artists from Johnny Cash, John Hiatt, to Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker and the Mavericks. You’ll hear great guitar work by Billy Light from the (Trouble Makers) and Dan Ravenelle from (Village Jammers) along with Jay D creating double & signature triple harmony arrangements. Rounding out the band’s sound is Dave Allen from (Sunday Gravy) on bass guitar/ vocals and Bob Pia (Franklin Lymestone alum) on drums/ vocals. Jay is excited to return to Mohegan Sun in 2025 after a long absence from playing Sun BBQ Fest and Wolf Den shows dating back to a shared night with the Zac Brown Band. It’s sure to be a fun Thursday night of great music!
