Jay Ching started his musical journey in Cortland, New York spending his teens and twenties playing out with various groups. This time on the stage culminated in experiencing local success and touring the east coast with CNY based An Hour Within. After working on their self titled ep with producer Brett Thorngren(Muse, Sky Tells All, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Bang Records) the band began to see some radio airplay and clothing sponsorships as well as playing a few festivals. All of this exposure to what went on behind the scenes pulled Jay even further into the world of music. In 2015, Jay continued his venture, making the trek from New York to North Carolina to join forces with American Idol finalist Adam Decker. Adam and Jay formed a musical duo, that would grow into the Adam Lee Decker music group. Following the larger groups success, Jay morphed from an original musician into a full-time performing artist, establishing himself in Charlotte NC, as an original and cover artist.
Jay has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Avenged Sevenfold, Flyleaf, A Day To Remember, Saliva, Limp Bizkit, Madina Lake, Motionless in White and many others over the course of his musical journey.
