Jax Purple Parade is a 2+ mile long parade, snaking through Atlantic Beach on June 26th! Headed up by The Admiral's Daughters iconic FJ (which they are turning PURPLE for the month of June). Every vehicle entry fee is donated directly to Alzheimer's Association in accordance with their global fundraiser, The Longest Day.The Longest Day is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. On June 20 (and throughout the month of June, which is Alzheimer’s + Brain Awareness Month-represented by the color purple), people from across the world will fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through a fundraising activity of their choice, all benefiting Alzheimer’s Association.
50 cars have the opportunity to advertise their local businesses while supporting this wonderful cause.
If you can't be IN the parade, be sure to get a great spot on the street side to watch our parade of purple go by, raising money for research + a cure and resources for caregivers that are humbled by this poorly understood disease daily.
