Jason's Jog 2025: Do Everything In Love

We are excited to announce the details of the 10th annual Jason’s Jog, the USATF-certified 5K run and 1-mile Fun Run to honor the life of Jason Owen. This nonprofit event honors Jason’s legacy by raising money for causes important to him. This year, all proceeds will benefit Meadowood Baptist Church’s music ministry.

Jason’s Jog draws people from throughout the Mid-Del community to gather at the YMCA in Midwest City and run a USATF-certified neighborhood course. After the 5K run, attendees are encouraged to stay and enjoy flag football, an awards ceremony, food trucks/local vendors, inflatable bounce houses, and other family-friendly activities.

Every year, Jason’s Jog grows in the charitable donations we have been able to give back to our community. To date, we’ve provided nearly $60,000 to support initiatives including Mid-Del tutoring programs, youth activities, foster care support groups, and warm winter coats for area schoolchildren. This is planned to be the final Jason’s Jog. We are working to make it the biggest and best event in our 10-year history, and we invite you to help us raise more money this year than ever before!

Also, to celebrate 10 years, we are waiving all registration fees! Everyone is welcome to participate. We’ve opened up donations (Eventbrite link / Venmo below) to gather as much as we can to support Meadowood’s music ministry.

Your donations and sponsorships are tax-deductible through Meadowood Baptist Church; 100% of proceeds will directly support the music ministry.

$250 T-Shirt Sponsor: Your name or logo listed on event signage, read aloud at the event, and listed on the event’s website and social media promotions.

$100 Event Sponsor: Your name listed on event signage, read aloud at the event, and listed on the event’s website and social media promotions.

In-Kind Sponsor: Your donation of a gift card, product, or other goods/services will be raffled at the awards ceremony. Your name will be mentioned during the raffle and included in social media promotions.
