We've got a "don't miss" Americana, roots-rock comin' for ya featuring Jason Scott & the High Heat from Oklahoma City, with very special local guests Shannon Clark & The Sugar. For this show, we're partnering with the Idea Collective, owners of Three Birds, Sueno, and Tender Mercy/DOZO on this show. There is a $10 taco plate add-on at Sueno for this show (details below).Jason Scott & the High Heat fuse Americana and roots-rock to craft a vibrant sound that extends beyond Oklahoma City roots. Their music is too loud for folk and too textured for Red Dirt, embodying groove, grit, and a distinctive spirit. Scott’s Pentecostal and preacher-in-training background influences his storytelling about life and love. Critics praise their energetic, groove-heavy sound, and live shows at festivals like Stagecoach and Norman Music Festival. They’ve supported bands like Blackberry Smoke, Band of Heathens, and Gin Blossoms.
Shannon Clark and the Sugar, a family-driven Midwest Americana soul band from Greenville, Ohio, consists of husband and wife Shannon and Brittany Clark, their teenage daughter Navie, and their cousin by marriage, Joey Howard.
