Jason will be performing with vocalist Dee Verkuilen at Rivertyme Bistro!Acoustic rock artist and Appleton native, Jason Schaefer's biggest influences growing up were Steely Dan, Dave Matthews, The Eagles, John Mayer, Paul McCartney and soft rock of the 70s/80s. In 2000, Jason was the singer/guitarist/songwriter of the regional trio Tate Rooper until 2010. In 2017 he began to focus on writing acoustic music. In 2020 he recorded his first solo EP album "Feels like Home" with the colaboration of guitarist Max Kresch and vocalist Dee Verkuilen. In 2021 he recorded another follow-up EP "For the Ghost" also with the help of Max and Dee. Both albums were recorded at Rock Garden Studio in Appleton, WI with engineer Marc Golde. His songs have been featured regularly on 105.7 WAPL Home Brew Radio Show.
