It's been 45 years since Falta last raced at Unadilla. This year we will join with Martina Falta Cope to celebrate her father and his racing career during MX Rewind presented by NYCM Insurance.We invite anyone with a CZ to bring it and display it in the Falta Tribute Area. We are also holding a CZ only parade lap on Saturday and Sunday in his memory. If you want to display a CZ and participate in the parade lap and/or racing, we welcome you to take the bike in and out. The more CZs the merrier! There is no additional charge for the memorial area or parade lap. We just want to load up the area with CZs in Falta's honor.
Saturday night at 7pm there will be a social at the Falta Tribute Area and all are welcome to walk amongst the CZs, meet Martina and her family, and bench race the times gone by.
Martina will also have copies of The Stolen Title with her. It's a great read about not only racing from behind the Iron Curtain but the true story on how the 1974 250cc World Championship was awarded to the wrong racer.
