Enigmatická hudebnice, vokalistka a skladatelka Jarboe se vrací do Prahy. Po boku Thora Harrise a Joy Von Spain v MeetFactory představí své nadcházející album Sightings ☽
Hudební putování Jarboe je nekonečným řetězem tvůrčích spoluprací. Ačkoli její jméno bývá nejčastěji skloňováno v souvislosti s působením v kapele Swans, v průběhu posledních dekád hrála také s Neurosis, Lustmord, Puscifer, Justinem K. Broadrickem či s Merzbowem.
Už od raných devadesátek, kdy vyšlo její první sólové album Thirteen Masks, se věnuje taky vlastní experimentální tvorbě, která se vymyká žánrovým definicím. Imerzivní, temná a emotivní – Jarboe dle vlastních slov skrze svou tvorbu otevírá pomyslné transcendentální portály, jimiž se s posluchači vydává na cestu sdílení těch nejniternějších pocitů a zkušeností.
Aktuálně pracuje na nové sólové desce Sightings, která vyjde v dubnu u kultovního belgického labelu Consouling Sounds. Jarboe s ní vyráží na evropské turné se zastávkou v MeetFactory, kde album představí v tandemu s Thorem Harrisem (ex-Swans, Shearwater; Water Damage, Thor & Friends) a Joy Von Spain (To End It All, Eye of Nix, Eight Balls).

Enigmatic musician, vocalist, and composer Jarboe is returning to Prague together with Thor Harris and Joy Von Spain, in support of her upcoming new album Sightings ☽
The musical journey of Jarboe is an endless chain of creative collaborations. While her name is most often associated with the band Swans, Jarboe has also worked with Neurosis, Lustmord, Puscifer, Justin K. Broadrick, and Merzbow, amongst many others over the past decades.
Since the early 90s when Jarboe's first solo album Thirteen Masks was released, she has been deeply devoted to her own experimental output. Immersive, dark, and visceral– Jarboe opens imaginary transcendental portals with each of her recordings, facilitating changes and experiences to include her oft-repeated idea of dissolving the line between artist and audience, while creating space for sharing the deepest of experiences, resulting in an emotional experience beyond simple listening.
Jarboe is currently working on her new solo album Sightings, to be released in April on the cult Belgian label Consouling Sounds. She is heading on a European tour together with Thor Harris (ex-Swans, Shearwater; Water Damage, Thor & Friends) and Joy Von Spain (To End It All, Eye of Nix, Eight Balls), presenting the album live as a trio.
