_______________________

Maiden Voyage brings the Japanese experience of Jazz Kissa to the Panama Hotel and Tea Room. Jazz Kissa generally translates to "jazz cafe" where customers quietly enjoy the owner's collection of vinyl records over a cup of coffee, tea or glass of whiskey. This popup will take over the Lower Floor of the Panama's Tea Room for a casual afternoon spent enjoying jazz on a mobile audiophile sound system. Maiden Voyage will curate the vinyl playlist.

While there is no ticket fee, and entry is donation we ask that you support Japantown Neighbors & Panama Tea Room by purchasing $10 minimum drinks and/or snacks while you experience Maiden Voyage. Please respect tradition by keeping your table conversations to a low volume so all can enjoy this communal experience.

Seating is limted so be sure to RSVP. There will limited spaces available for first come first served as well a throughout the event if guests depart during the 3 hr afternoon experience.

Seating is in a communal space and most of the seats are shared benches or couch. There is a limited number of single seats. Some single seats are armchairs for maximum comfort and others are on a shared communal table.

Masks are not required, but feel free to wear them in the communal environment when not eating or drinking.

Note: There is a community cat that lives in the building. Please be aware if you are allergic to cat hair.

For ADA (wheelchair) accessibility we request you arrive before 1pm (SEE FAQ)
