About the Instructor - Keiko Fukuda
Born in Sasebo, Nagasaki, Japan, in 1985, Keiko Fukada pursued her passion for art by majoring in Pop Art at the VANTAN Design Institute in Tokyo. From 2006 to 2009, she lived in New York to further her studies in language and art.
In 2016, Ms. Fukada founded YUME CLOUD STUDIO to introduce art into communities where it was less accessible, promoting creativity and enriching daily life through art. Over the next eight years, she led popular art classes for all ages, with a strong emphasis on children’s art education. Her classes covered a wide range of artistic techniques, including traditional Japanese crafts, reproductions of famous paintings, and printmaking, making art enjoyable and welcoming to participants from all walks of life.
Beyond her studio, she served as a project instructor for elementary school programs and organized events for companies such as TOYOTA, as well as for regional businesses and tourism initiatives. Her approach to art centers on fostering creativity through workshops and classes, with the goal of enhancing everyday life.
In 2024, Ms. Fukada returned to New York and joined MATSUYAMA STUDIO as an art production assistant while continuing to teach and pursue her own artistic projects.
