Japanese Matcha workshop 101 - Bampot House

Reina Sakao known as Madame Matcha from Montreal will be in Toronto on September 18 to offer a special Japanese Matcha workshop in collaboration with Bampot House!
Reina is a fourth generation member of a tea house family in Japan. In addition to importing a collection of tea to distribute to coffee shops, stores, restaurants and individual clients in Canada, she also offers Japanese tea ceremony as well as tea workshops.
During this Matcha workshop, you will:
- Learn about Matcha (what matcha is, the production process, how to choose/prepare/conserve matcha daily)
- Learn how to propery make your own matcha. (In a traditional way)
- Enjoy 4 matchas from Kyoto with different notes paired with Japanese traditional candy 'Wasanbon'
Come try 4 types of Matcha as well as Japanese traditional candy (it is plant based, gluten-free!) It is a great opportunity to learn both about Matcha and Japanese culture. Purchase of matcha products is available after the workshop. Follow SAKAO tea on
