NEW PROGRAM! New England has a different ecosystem than Japan, and if you understand it even a little, you'll enjoy walking and hiking so much more! With a new walk led by Kie Shimizu in Japanese language along the trails at Wolbach Farm, you will discover the trees and plants commonly found in the woods of New England. We will identify native and non-native plant species, as well as some poisonous plants, and review safe walking/hiking tips. Advance registration is required. Program is FREE for SVT Members, $10 for nonmembers.
