Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of bilingual storytelling, origami crafts, tasty snacks, and more surprises at the library!

​📣 Join us on Saturday, January 31st from 2 PM for AJC’s bilingual storytime celebrating the special seasonal festival in Japan, Setsubun 🌸

​Setsubun marks the end of winter and takes place on February 3rd, featuring the fun bean-throwing tradition called “Mame-maki.”

​We’ll also introduce traditional Japanese children’s songs 🎶 and Kamishibai (Japanese picture theater) generously donated by Kinokuniya Austin, featuring a cute, heartwarming story about a bear who works as a mailman 💌🐻
Starting at 2:30 PM, it’s craft time! Let’s make cute origami oni (a character from Setsubun festival) together🎶 After the craft, guests are welcome to enjoy snack raffle and a games with prizes sponsored by HEB, Asahi Imports and HMart Austin 🍬🍭
FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. ALL AGES WELCOME
