Calligraphy WorkshopImmerse yourself in the art of Japanese calligraphy, guided by the BHSU Japan Outreach Initiative (JOI). Learn brush control, basic kanji characters, and the meditative philosophy behind this beautiful traditional craft. Free to attend, with only 12 places available.
About the Japan Outreach Initiative (JOI)
The Japan Outreach Initiative (JOI) is a joint program of the Japan Foundation and Laurasian Institution, designed to bring native Japanese cultural coordinators to regions of the U.S. where Japanese cultural experiences are limited. BHSU’s participation brings these rich cultural opportunities right into our community.
All workshops begin at 3 pm on the second Thursday of each month and are completely free of charge.
