Japanese Community Forum: Q&A with Hon. Mark Mitchell and Hon. Jenny Salesa

Join us for an evening of discussion and community engagement with Hon. Mark Mitchell, Minister for Ethnic Communities, and Hon. Jenny Salesa, Spokesperson for Ethnic Communities.

Hosted jointly by the Japan Business Club New Zealand and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Auckland, this forum provides an opportunity for members of the Japanese community and those with an interest in Japan-New Zealand relations to engage directly with New Zealand political leaders on issues that matter to our communities.

Topics may include:

• The contribution of ethnic communities to New Zealand society
• Community safety and social cohesion
• Government engagement with migrant and ethnic communities
• Civic participation and community leadership
• Opportunities and challenges facing diverse communities
• New Zealand's multicultural future

The evening will include moderated discussion and audience Q&A, providing attendees with an opportunity to hear directly from the speakers and ask questions in an open and respectful setting.
