Day 6 Kyoto Heian Jingu Shrine cherry, Gion District walk, Oshino Hakkai

Day 7 Kyoto Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), Daitokuji Temple, Arashiyama Bamboo Grave

Day 8 Oishi Park, seeing the cherry blossoms with Mount Fuji

Day 9 Scenic Spots of Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi

【Notes】:

-This is not a Guided Tour. We just provide a platform to gather like-minded adventurers in Australia, and travel in Australia or the world. Share the experience and expenses of a trip, and have more fun. The organiser is there to enjoy it as much as anyone else.

-You have to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

-Travel insurance is highly recommended for an overseas trip.

【cherry blossom season】:

The cherry blossom season typically lasts for around two weeks, with the peak bloom period (when most of the blossoms are open) lasting for just a few days. You’ll want to time your trip carefully to catch the cherry blossoms at their best. But be aware: forecasts can only predict when the flowering will start and end, but they are not to be considered 100% accurate since nature has its processes and timings.

Here is a general guide to cherry blossom blooming dates in Japan for 2023:

Tokyo – Flowering: March 20 / Full bloom: March 27

Kyoto – Flowering: March 24 / Full bloom: March 30

Osaka – Flowering: March 23 / Full bloom: March 30

Hiroshima – Flowering: March 21 / Full bloom: March 29
