After writing music for 10+ years, this is what it comes to: King Ink. Based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan, JD Waldvogel blends together vanity, humor, and unapologetically pure joy and fun into his songs.
Taken from the EP 'Lost Machines' due out early this fall, Who Knows? reflects the influences it was born out of: The jamming of My Morning Jacket, the wistfulness of Wilco, the self-effacing lyricism of Barenaked Ladies. An interesting mix for sure, but the track brings out the best of them all.
