January Workshop with Russell Maliphant OBE

Come and learn from the best in the industry! This month focus is on Upper Body.

The workshop will be held at Excelsior Studios on 31st January.

Time: 11 am - 2 pm

Where: Studio 17, Excelsior Studios, 17-21 Sunbeam Road, London, NW10 6JP

10 minute walk from North Acton Station, Central Line

We will explore practically details of upper body movement patterns through gestures and touch (such as pressing, pushing and reaching) whilst maintaining integrity through the entire body.

Using integral anatomy as a starting point to explore relationships through different layers (eg bones, fascia & skin) and introduce concepts, perceptions and physical sensations to develop awareness and optimise energy, efficiency and ease in movement.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, aged 18 - 80 this workshop is for everyone who loves to move and has an interest in finding flowing body movement without restriction.
