About this Event

This January The Dyke Agenda has teamed up with The Alternative to provide us with a queer-focused wellbeing evening to kickstart our 2026 right 💜

We will be running a two hour event including two amazing workshops:

6:15pm-7:15pm: Mobility and Movement session

7:30pm-8:30pm: Oracle and Energy circle

There will be time to mingle at the end of the classes.

The mobility and movement session will focus on connecting with your core. It combines no-impact exercises with education, and incorporates breathwork & intentional movements. A blend of mat work and resistance training using bands, with exercises such as squats, presses and planks. This can be adapted for individual needs.

The oracle and energy circle will be a guided community circle, we gather to reconnect with our intuitive wisdom as queer people. We open with a gentle somatic and energetic meditation to ground the body, soften the nervous system, and attune to the shared field. Oracle cards are then introduced as a channel for collective insight, and we will perform a simple release-and-align ritual for the new year.

The Dyke Agenda has been able to sponsor this evening completely, meaning tickets are free for community benefit. If you claim a ticket and do not attend without making an effort to give the ticket away to another attendee, you may be barred from claiming tickets for future free TDA events. We appreciate free events are exciting and enticing, but please only claim a ticket if you are committed to attending, otherwise you'll be taking the opportunity from someone else.

Please try to be at The Alternative by 6pm latest to ensure we can start on time and not delay the class for everyone.
