Happy New Year! We're so excited to get back into the swing of things in 2025.
Our beginner lessons have returned! Starting on January 9th, our four week beginner series will get you started on your swing dance journey. It focuses on Lindy Hop, and covers everything from the triple step to the swingout. No partner or experience is required!
Our beginner class is designed to be a progressive series. That means each class builds on the previous one, so it is best to come every week! Each class is $15.
Instead of our normal intermediate class series, in January we will be offering collaborative practice time. You can come prepared with a move or topic you want to explore, or just show up ready to learn and collaborate!
Folks attending the practice are expected to be at an intermediate level. Instructors will be present to help facilitate and answer questions, but we encourage people to contribute their own ideas and interests. Practices will be donation based.
Both the beginner classes and the intermediate practice run from 7-8pm.
From 8-10pm is our weekly social dance! Come dance the night away to our swinging DJs every Thursday, starting January 9th. The social dance costs $8, $5 with student ID, or is FREE for folks who take lessons beforehand.
Free parking at the Brownhoist is available in the lot at the corner of St. Clair and E. 45th, as well as on surrounding streets.
