Learn to fence, get a great workout, have fun and meet new friends! At Tidewater Fencing Club’s beginner fencing classes, you’ll learn all the fundamentals of one of the oldest Olympic sports, then get to apply them in freestyle bouting (sparring) with other beginners. - $100/month for an individual
- Additional family members can be added at a 50% discount
- Students should be at least 11 years old (youths aged 10 or younger must take Conditioning Classes first)
- Classes meet once per week for four weeks
- Wear a t-shirt, athletic pants/knee-length shorts, and sneakers
- Be prepared to sweat!
- Students will be provided the proper protective gear and special practice blades (foils) that don't have sharp edges or tips
- Trial membership with USA Fencing required
