Come celebrate Jane Austen's 250th birthday—on her birthday! Join us at the Provo City Library at Academy Square for a social evening of English country dancing, card playing, food, and drink to celebrate the life and legacy of one of English literature's greatest authors. Dancing, refreshments, and a photo backdrop will be in the ballroom. Card playing will be in the Brimhall Room. There will be a prize drawing and costume contest. To supplement the catered food, attendees are asked to bring a plate of treats to share, please and thank you. Early bird pricing, which includes the organizer absorbing processing fees, goes through December 1. Ticket prices after that will increase to $45 a person, $85 for a package, $38 for a student, $71 for a student package, and $145 for a family pass, plus processing fees and sales tax.
