The Jane Addams Children’s Book Award annually recognizes children’s books that effectively engage kids in thinking about peace, social justice, global community and equity for all people. Join us in celebrating this year’s winner!
Local artist Cue Perry will be on hand to share his art skills and engaging art activities for little ones. Children in attendance will also be given a copy of a winning or honor book signed by the author. Enjoy light refreshments and a chance to bid in a raffle to win a basket of all six winning and honor books!
This event takes place in the South Wing Reading Room.
