JANAE : Creatrix Syrens

Janae will be painting her Heart across the sky through soundscapes and vocal melodies in a delicious concert experience. You are coming to be apart of the live artwork. She thanks you in advance for choosing to be apart of this tangible, real life energetic canvas that will hold this experience for us all.
Janae is a 25 year old creatrix force, native to Colorado Springs. She is devoted to the art of expression and the power it can weave through one's life. She moves through this world advocating for the liberation of Self, embodied through authentic expression. She supports this by working with somatic practices through the body utilizing breathwork, movement, presence, and sound while rooting into and deeply connecting with the Earth. Music has been an endless avenue in this manifest. Singing is one of the most potent and powerful channels of Janae's expression alongside movement and all things colorful and stylish. She is grateful to have grown up studying the Performing Arts at the Colorado Springs Conservatory where she orginally met Josh and John and that eventually lead to meaningful collaboration over the years in friendship, artistic visions and deep love in queer family and community. It has been such a joy and honor in her life. Janae continued studies in Denver for two years exploring Music Business and Singer/Songwriter Majors. She NOW remains devoted to her mission and continues her work exploring life. She is in the endless cycle of , research, creation/birthing, destroying, sitting in and with the energies of life and death, grief, decay, compost and inevitably the recycling of energy. This bleeds through her work.
