Welcome to our Jan 2023 School Holiday Art Therapy Program for children aged 5yrs - 12yrs.During these School Holidays, we will have 3 Workshops available for you to book your child/children into - there are 2 age groups, please read on;
Monday 9th Jan
10am - 12pm | Suitable for ages 5-7yrs
1pm - 3pm | Suitable for ages 8yrs - 12yrs
THEME: Anxiety & Affirmation Cards.
In this workshop, we will look at anxiety and other big emotions (using art and creativity) and talk about some child appropriate strategies to help navigate those emotions. We will then create 5-10 affirmation cards, using collage, that your child will take home to utilise as one of the strategies we discussed.
Monday 16th Jan
10am - 12pm | Suitable for ages 5-10yrs
THEME: Great Barrier Reef/Ocean
In this workshop we will talk about the Great Barrier Reef & the ocean, create an ocean inspired setting including a turtle, coral, and some fish using air dry clay and other art items. While creating, the focus will be on problem solving, sharing, creativity as mindfulness and simply enjoying the process!
Monday 23rd Jan
10am - 12pm | Suitable for ages 5-10yrs
THEME: Worries & Self Esteem.
In this workshop we will talk about what worries us, and create a worry "monster" art piece. We will also have an art activity around self esteem, looking at the things that make us feel good about ourselves.
Registration fee's are $35 per child per workshop and to be paid at time of booking to secure your child's place. Please note that these registration fee's are non-refundable - so please double check the dates and times before committing.
All of TWI's Art Therapists have their WWCC, Police Clearance, relevant qualifications, and have worked with children before.
You are encouraged to drop your child/children off to the workshop and then go grab a coffee/do errands etc.
Please arrive 5-10 mins beforehand so you can meet the Art Therapists - we want you to be comfortable in leaving your children with us, and then drop back in 5 minutes before the workshop is finished, as we wrap everything up.
Your child will need to bring their own water bottle with them, and please ensure they have eaten before they attend.

❤ Registration fees are non-refundable.
❤ TWI requires the parents to sign their child in and out of each workshop
❤ Max 8 children per session
❤ You are encouraged to drop child off after a meet and greet, and pop back in as we wrap the workshop up
