JAMSQUAD hosts open workshops to inspect, repair, and clean up bikes to be donated into the community. We have two large donations events planned for the next month and would greatly appreciate the help. No technical expertise needed.We have a good stock of bikes ready to be donated, but have requests for over 70~ bikes in the next month or so, so every bit of help will have high impact.
On Saturday, June 15th, we will be returning to the Upper Bay Juneteenth Festival in support of Hosanna Community House where we aim to donate upwards of 50 bikes as a first come first serve opportunity for the community. The event will take place in the afternoon and we'd appreciate any help with volunteers. More info expected as we near the date.
Our second donation target is Extreme Family Outreach, which is expecting 20-30 bikes by the end of the month.
Additionally, we are expecting to move our workshop location this summer, so we will be aiming to downsize to simplify our move.
