Following a hugely successful Australian tour in 2024, acclaimed Liverpool songwriter Jamie Webster returns this December for a special run of Australian headline shows, celebrating the release of his forthcoming fourth studio album, Running Round The Sun.
One of the UK’s most vital contemporary songwriters, Webster has built a fiercely loyal following through his powerful blend of indie rock, modern folk and working-class storytelling. Renowned for his passionate live performances and deeply relatable songwriting, he has grown from performing in Liverpool pubs while working full-time as an electrician to selling out arenas and headline outdoor shows across the UK.
Set for release on 4 September, Running Round The Sun marks a reflective new era for Webster, balancing the anthemic energy that first made him a breakout success with a more personal and introspective approach. Exploring themes of identity, mental wellbeing, community and belonging, the 14-track album was recorded between Rockfield and Mission Sound Studios with long-time collaborators Dave Eringa and Tim Cunningham.
Alongside the album announcement comes Webster’s first new music of 2026, the powerful new single Just Begun - a soaring and reflective anthem that captures the spirit of an artist continuing to evolve while remaining firmly connected to the people and stories that inspired his rise.
Webster first broke through internationally with fan-favourite tracks including Weekend In Paradise and This Place, before cementing his status with a string of acclaimed releases including his UK Top Five albums Moments and 10 For The People. Across the past decade he has become one of the defining voices of modern British songwriting - equally capable of delivering stadium-sized singalongs and deeply personal reflections on everyday life.
